Officials writes to Sub Registrars to furnish information
Hyderabad, April 30, 2007The officials of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) are all busy on Monday in their investigation on SP Murali and his properties. Sources say that the ACB has written to the Sub Registrars at Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad to furnish in writing the details of the properties owned by the arrested Rural SP Murali by ACB a couple of days back on various charges. It may be recalled ACB Murali is arrested and is sent to Cherlapalli Jail in Hyderabad.
ACB Director General SSP Yadav has been sent to Director General of Police (DGP) MA Basith who is likely to recommend suspension of Murali in a couple of days. The officials who opened the bank locker of Murali's son at Sanjeevareddy Nagar and found them to be empty. Meanwhile, several members of the public started calling the ACB officials offering to give inputs on the alleged misdeeds of Murali.
Meanwhile, the officials conducted raids on the house of Murali's friend Mallaiah at Malakpet and seized some incriminating documents according to available sources.
