Eight day tour to US and Singapore

Hyderabad, April 29, 2007

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy is leaving for an eight-day tour to the US and Singapore. His tour begins on May 5. The Chief Minister will be accompanied by an official delegation and will reach Chicago on May 6. The American Telugu Association of North America for the first time have organized a joint felicitation function.

Dr. Reddy will be attending the World Agricultural Forum 2007 at St. Louis where he would deliver the keynote address. The congress will be attended by delegates from over 70 countries. The theme of the congress is 'Creating prosperity through investments in agriculture'.

On May 9, he will proceed to Singapore where he will hold talks with the representatives of the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and IT industries and will return back n May 13. Meanwhile, CMO's office on Sunday said that the Government has decided to spend Rs. 1000 crores for the farm sector.
