APCC President says its doors are open for any party except TDP and BJP
Barely a day after Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that the Congress was prepared to go it alone in the next elections, APCC President D Srinivas, on his part, came up with a statement that the door of the party are always open to all opposition parties except the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Bharateeya Janatha Party (BJP).

Hyderabad, April 28, 2007

In the recently concluded MLC elections in Local Authority Constituencies, the PCC president K Keshava Rao appointed two committees to investigate whether internal sabotage was the cause for the ruling party's defeat in the four districts.

The first committee, consisting of M Kodanda Reddy and T Purushottam Rao would visit Nellore and Srikakulam an the second one comprising of GV Seshu and Rayapati Srinivas would visit Mahboobnagar and Karimnagar. The committees would submit its report on May 3 and action would be taken against those responsible.
