Rural Games to include Karnataka and Maharashtra

Games to begin at Lal Bahadur Stadium from April 28

Hyderabad, April 26, 2007

The Rural Games organized by Consortium of Indian Farmers Associations (CIFA) and the Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages have will begin from April 28, 2007 at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad. This years attraction will be the participation of participants from Karnataka and Maharashtra.

14 districts will become the venue for the games being organized by public-private participation. P. Chengal Reddy, Secretary General of CIFA briefed about the games and the arrangements made for the same. He said that Free medical and health camps will be setup at the game venues.
