Cabinet adds 17 more ministers; Cabinet strength reaches 41

Hyderabad, April 26, 2007

In the presence of the Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the Andhra Pradesh Governor, Rameshwar Thakur administered oath to the 17 newly inducted ministers in the lawns of Raj Bhavan on Thursday early morning. Cabinet Minsters, dignitaries, family members and followers of the new ministers were present on the occasion. With the induction of the new ministers, the strength of the Cabinet has gone to 41. Out of this, 18 from Coastal Andhra, 17 from Telangana region and the rest six were from Rayalaseema.

On account of the reshuffling, the following are the ministers and their portfolios:
