Chief Minister conducts review meeting

The State Government is planning to open more than 450 Jawahar Knowledge Centres (JKC) in all Engineering, MBA, MCA and Degree colleges to create employment opportunities in Information Technology. As of now, 53 JKCs are functioning in the State.
The Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy at a review meeting on Saturday said that more than five lakh students should be trained for employment in IT and BPO sectors in the State. He directed the officials to open language laboratories as well as training modules suitable for the industry.
The Chief Minister directed the officials of IT and Communications and Employment and Training departments to coordinate their efforts in training students for opening up employment opportunities for them in the service sector.
