The last date for submission of application forms for allotment of houses/flats under the Rajiv Swagruha Scheme has been extended till April 22. The Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who is touring in Kadapa district ordered extension of the last date while reviewing the process with senior officials.
As Friday is the last date for submitting the application forms, with the requests coming in from all quarters, the Government has extended the last date by another two days. However, the application forms will not be sold during the extended period.
Nearly 2.6 lakh applications have been sold so far, of which 1.87 lakh have been submitted according to a press release from the Chief Minister's Office.
