Supplementary examination on May 23
Hyderabad, April 19, 2007The Junior Intermediate Results that were announced on Thursday saw the pass percentage dipping from last year's 53.2 to 50.36. The Secretary of Board of Intermediate Examination RP Sisodia said that the performance of girl students was better to boys percentage. He said that out of 7,01,653 students who appeared for the examination only 3,53,379 candidates have gone through.
Krishna district topped the pass list with 65 percentage while Mahabubnagar stood at the bottom with 33 percentage. He said that the successful candidates were put in four grades and added that the intention was to discourage colleges from claiming ranks.
Memorandum of marks would be available from April 22 and any discrepancies in the marks sheet could be referred to the Board before May 19. The advanced supplementary examination will be held on May 23 and the last date for payment of fee is April 27. Candidates who wish to go for recounting have to pay Rs. 100 per paper and Rs. 600 per paper for photocopy as well as verification of answer book. Applications can be downloaded from bieap.gov.in obtained from colleges concerned. He said that the second year results would be released on April 24.
