Cabinet Expansion likely on April 21

CM speaks out in an informal chat with media

The Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy has been dodging media on the date and time of Cabinet expansion. But according to media sources, the expansion will be on April 21, 2007.

The Chief Minister left of Delhi on Friday evening to finalize the names with party president Sonia Gandhi and will return to the State Capital on Saturday evening. Initial indications are that no first time MLA or MLC will secure a berth. Replying on the critical remarks of the expansion by senior MP G. Venkataswamy, he said that guidelines were still being framed and the stage of identifying he new entrants had not yet been reached.
