BSNL planning expanding broadband operations

More regions in Guntur to get faster Internet connectivity

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is planning to extend its broadband services, DataOne to more towns in and around Guntur. The Gutur circle of BSNL currenly has 1526 customers and that 1932 applications are still pending. The long pending list for the installation of broadband connections was getting delayed because of lack of modems.

BSNL General Manager MSR Sarma said that the subscribers of OneIndia plan will automatically get STD facility without requiring any specific request from the customer. He said that BSNL Guntur is planning the installation of WiFi Hotspots at Railway Stations, Bus station and at other places.
