Merchants unhappy with second bandh during the week
Adilabad, April 11, 2007What is considered to be the Northern Telangana Bandh soon spread for almost all the Telangana districts when normal life came to a stand still. The bandh was called by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and too place peacefully. The bandh was against the Maharashtra Government for its stand on the Bhabli issue and the way it behaved with the TDP supports who tried to visit the project site. No untoward incidents were reported.
On the other hand, a small section of the merchants were unhappy considering the facts that two bandhs took place in a matter of a week days time. Too many bandhs would hamper their business, they felt.
