Applications to be accepted till April 20; Rules relaxed
Hyderabad, April 10, 2007The Andhra Pradesh Housing Board (APHB) has decided to extend the last date for the submission of filled in application forms for the Rajiv Swagruha Scheme, the IInd Phase of Rajiv Gruhakalpa program for 10 days. The earlier last date is April 10 while the new last date is April 20.
The date is extended considering the fact that only 20,000 filled in applications were received as against to the 1.8 lakh application forms that were sold. Relaxed rules would allow more applications to be filed. One of the relaxed rule is that the applicants need not have to submit a copy of the pink card. An affidavit on a Rs. 10 stamp paper would be suffice for those who do not have a pink card. Further, those who are self-employed can now submit a residence proof and income certificate duly signed by two gazetted officers. APHB now hopes that these relaxed rules would bring in more applications to be submitted to its housing program.
