Over 5000 walkers gets effected due to ban
Hyderabad, April 1, 2007The entry of morning and evening walkers into Public Gardens has been banned as AP Legislative Council begins on April 2, 2007. Nearly, 5000 walkers will be affected due to the ban. Except MLAs, MLCs, security staff and those having passes, visitors will not be allowed into the Public Gardens from April 2 to 4 and from April 9 to 10.
The Saifabad Assistant Commissioner Uma Maheswar Rao said congregation of more than four people is also banned in the radius of one kilometer around the Public Gardens and no processions will be allowed. The police authorities sealed all the entries except the Osmania Gate and Mahabubia Gate.
The MLAs, MLCs, Minister and chairman of the Legislative Council will be allowed from Osmania Gate and other visitors with passes will be allowed from Mahabubia Gate. He said that the security is on par with AP Legislative Assembly.
