TRS all set for Siddipet Meet

Plans Parkal meet on September 25

Medak, September 7, 2006

Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) has made all arrangements for the successful conduction of the Siddipet public meeting. Almost all leaders of the party are coming on a single stage at Siddipet to work together and chalk out a plan for the Telangana statehood. Thousands of supporters from various parts of the region are reaching Siddipet by paada yatras, on motor cycles and cars. Meanwhile, police in large numbers are deployed to ensure the meeting does not go into chaos and cause untoward incident.

Party sources said that they are taking the meeting prestigious and that the success of the meeting would be an eye opener for all anti-Telangana statehood parties. TRS has also chalked out a plan for a follow-up meeting at Parkal of Warangal district. The Parkal meeting is planned for September 25.

TRS party supreme K Chandrasekhara Rao is more sentimental of Siddipet for it was the venue from where he performed pooja and set out to Hyderabad to resign from his TDP membership, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and for MLA seat of Siddipet on April 27, 2001.
