Congratulates Police personnel in ensuring peaceful Ganesh immersion
Hyderabad, September 7, 2006Speaking at the sidelines of the Jagruthi Ist Conference of Spouses of the Police Personnel, Home Minister K Jana Reddy said that allotment of portfolios was with the Chief Minister and that his decision is final. He said that he will be serving the people even when there is no portfolio.
Minister Jana Reddy and DGP Swaranjit Sen expressed happiness and thanked the active involvement of the police personnel at all levels for ensuring the peaceful conduction of the recently concluded Ganesh idol immersion program. Speaking on some anti-social elements role in a region, he said the police are looking into the matter and that the act was that of someone who hail from outside the state.
