Proposal for Thermal plant submitted to Chief Minister
Hyderabad, September 21, 2006
Asian Gateway Corporation, a Malaysian company has expressed its willingness to set up a 2400 MW thermal power plant in the State. The Company's chief executive He called on the Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Thursday and submitted a proposal to establish the thermal power plant. He said that in the first phase, the company will take up 1600 MW generation for which it has sought land and water. He expressed the hope that the State Government would respond for the proposal positively.
