TDP President alleges that cases being foisted on their MLAs

Blames Government of fanning regional feelings among the people

Hyderabad, September 18, 2006

Addressing the political awareness training camp for newly elected ZPTC members of eight districts in Telangana at the party office, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the State Government was foisting false cases against the party MLAs who were taking up people's issues.

Mr. Naidu also alleged that the Government was fanning regional feelings among the people without allocating water to the deprived areas. He said Krishna waters could be diverted through Pothireddypadu head regulator to Rayalaseema only after clearing the doubts expressed by many. He told the party ZPTCs to fight for the transfer of power to local bodies.
