Meetings to focus on Government schemes
Hyderabad, September 17, 2006The Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Sunday said that district wise review meetings would be launched from October 7, 2006. He will review the programmes under implementation in Chittoor and Anantapur districts on October 7 and 8, Mahabubnagar and Kadapa on October 14 and 15, Prakasam and Kurnool on October 21 and 22 and Guntur and Krishna on October 28 and 29.
The Chief Minister discussed with top officials the draft on 'Development and People's Participation' comprising region wise details of the developmental programmes undertaken during the last 27 months and the Chief Minister said that a blueprint for the all round development of Telangana has been prepared and that of coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema would be prepared soon. Basing on the comprehensive feed back, he will interact with the local public representatives personally. The blue print includes conducting awareness camps up to village level to educate the people on the benefits of government schemes through organizing exhibitions and camps.
