Hyderabad, September 14, 2006

The CPM charged the State Government with failure in providing seven hours power supply to agricultural sector demanded a white paper on the present power crisis.

The CPM floor leader N Narasimhaiah speaking to media said that the Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy boasted that the State was power surplus a month ago but the situation has turned from bad to worse during the last few days and the standing crops have dried up at many places.
