Hyderabad, October 5, 2006

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Managing Director MV Krishna Rao was transferred to the Central Services. Krishna Rao assumed charge as Managing Director of APSRTC about two year back helped the Corporation turn around and earn profits. He won the confidence of the one lakh employees.

The National Mazdoor Union President M Ramamohana Rao demanded the Government not to relieve him immediately in view of the recent strike notice given by the Union. It may be recalled that the NMU and Staff Workers Union served strike notices demanding a wage revision
