Reliance Fresh pilot store opened

Reliance Fresh, the first of several formats of Reliance Retail was unveiled by Gunender Kapur, president and chief executive, Food Business. It is launching its first set off pilot stores in Hyderabad on November 3. Kapur did not disclose the number of such stores. Each of these stores ranging from 2000 to 5000 sq.ft will stock a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and staples.

The company would implement its pilot programme in a phased manner over the next few months and they will span multiple formats and will be spread over the regions.
