The IAS officer was being questioned about his role in the case. The DIT officials who interrogated is understood to have admitted that the money was given go him by the hotelier in Delhi a few days ago. Das said that he took the cash to Bhubaneswar and brought it here on the instructions of the hotelier. The seized amount was deposited in the State Bank of India, Begumpet Airport Branch.
