Hyderabad Centre to provide 3000 jobs
Hyderabad, October 18, 2006The Chief Minister, Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy inaugurated Kanbay International, a multi national IT service provider in the IT Park in Gachibowli spread over an area of 15 acres. Kanbay provides an integrated suite of management consulting, technology integration, application development and maintenance and outsourcing solutions to clients globally. The Government has taken several steps to encourage IT Sector.
The State Government has taken up the task of ensuring smooth flow of traffic through projects like the Outer Ring Road. He said that the Government has taken several steps to solve problems relating to water, power and maintenance of law and order.
Kanbay Chairman and CEO Raymond Spencer said that the campus at present have six towers and soon will have nine towers. Out of the 1900 associates working in Hyderabad, 1400 are now located at the present campus. Once the campus is completed in the coming months, it would have space to accommodate nearly 5500 people. He said that they have invested Rs.115 crores and proposes to employ 15,000 people all over the country.
