Congress party presses top core team for elections
Hyderabad, October 10, 2006
The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has decided to draft the services of seven ministers, three MPs and 29 MLAs to steer its campaign in the upcoming Karimnagar Lok Sabha By poll. A preliminary review meeting was held on Tuesday to review the political situation following the resignation of K Chandrasekhara Rao of TRS president.
The meeting was attended by senior leaders and MLAs of the district. It also considered its campaign around the slogan 'separate Telangana possible only under Congress rule'. Political Advisor of the Chief Minister KVP Ramachandra Rao attended the meeting and advised them to strive hard for the victory of the Congress.
