Congress, TDP, BJP and TRS have already announced their candidates
Hyderabad, November 7, 2006
The Election Commission of India on Tuesday fixed December 4 for the by elections in Karimnagar and Bobbili Lok Sabha constituencies in the State. The Karimnagar seat has been vacated by the the TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao while the Bobbili seat has fallen vacant following the death of the sitting TDP member Pydithalli Naidu.
The Congress, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) have already announced their candidates. Congress party has fielded T. Jeevan Reddy while TDP has decided to field L. Ramana. The TRS chief himself is in the fray while Ch.Vidayasagara Rao of BJP. For Bobbili by poll the major parties have to declare their candidates.
