Jayaprakash Narayan said infusion of new blood in politics

Hyderabad, November 6, 2006

The Lok Satta Party national convenor Jayaprakash Narayan said the need for infusion new blood in politics is the need of the hour and his party will give a new definition to the politics. Addressing party workers after formally launching membership drive of the party, he called upon the party workers to use politics for the benefit of the people and desist from exploiting caste and religion for political gains.

The newly enrolled members of Lok Satta Party (LSP) would be involved in solving village problems, enumeration of voters and improving facilities. Candidates for the Assembly and Parliament would be elected first by local members of the party. They would not be imposed from above like in other political parties and all the active members of the party would be eligible to compete for posts within the party.
