Hyderabad, November 5, 2006

The Superintendent of Police (SPs) of six districts were among the fourteen IPS officers transferred by the State Government on Sunday. The new postings of the IPS officers are as follows.

The Cyberabad DCP Vijaya Kumar has been transferred and posted as SP, Nalgonda vice Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat who has been shifted as SP, Women Protection Cell (WPC), CID. K. Lakshmi Reddy who was working as SP WPC has been posted as SP Nellore district vie N. Suryanarayana who has been shifted as Assistant IGP, administration. A. Sunder Kumar Das, Assistant IGP, Administration has been shifted as Chief Vigilance and Security Officer in AP GENCO vice K. Venkateswara Rao has been posted as SP, Railways, Vijayawada. RB Naik, SP Railways has been posted as SP Medak vice PV Sunil Kumar who will now take over as SP Railways, Secunderabad. Charu Sinha is posted as SP Chittoor vice VV Gopala Krishna who has been shifted as SP, CID. Anil Kumar DCP Traffic, Hyderabad is transferred and posted as SP Adilabad vice Kripanand Tripathi Ujela who will take over as DCP Traffic. AS Gurappa, SP CID is transferred and posted as SP Ranga Reddy district vice E. Damodar who will take over as DCP Crimes, Cyberabad. Dr. RS Praveen Kumar is posted as Group Commander, Greyhounds. P. Munni Swamy is posted as DCP Traffic, Cyberabad. Bhavana Saxena, DCP (Law and Order) Visakhapatnam City is transferred and posted as Joint Director in ACB, Hyderabad.
