The CPI (Maoist) leader Tech Madhu and his wife Sudha Rani who were the brain behind the rocket launchers and mortars before the Warangal police on Saturday. The couple gave up before the Warangal range DIG Ravi Gupta and SP Soumya Mishra. It may be recalled the police had seized a huge haul of 875 rocket shells and launchers.
Speaking to media, Ravi Gupta said that he was assigned the job by party leaders to manufacture rockets. Madhu who had completed diploma in Pro-e-Engineering went to Chennai and planned two projects viz., rocket launchers-I and rocket launchers-II. It is understood that Madhu had received Rs.25 lakhs for the projects.
Speaking to media Madhu has said that he had manufactured some 1550 rockets and 40 launchers at the instance to the top CPI (Maoist) leadership. He said he had long standing differences with the Maoist party leadership as it was not taking the cadre into confidence. The party has deviated from its objective of building people's movement, of late was focusing on strengthening the military wing and on attacks.
