Hyderabad, November 24, 2006

The UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi is scheduled to visit Tirupati on a three hour visit would be offering prayers in the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara. This is the second time she is visiting the temple after 1997. She would visit the shrine around noon after inaugurating the annual summit of 'Akhil Rachanatmak Samaj' at Tirupati.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, AICC leaders and AP party affairs in charge Digvijay Singh besides central and State ministers, senior party leaders and functionaries from Delhi and Hyderabad. With the influx of VVIPs, various security agencies including SPG, have thrown a thick security blanket in and around Tirupati and Tirumala.
