The Congress party State affairs in charge Digvijay Singh on Thursday that the ruling party will win in the by elections in both in Bobbili and Karimnagar Lok Sabha seats, as the people would repose faith in the leadership of Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy government.

Speaking to reporters, he reiterated that the Congress was striving for consensus on separate Telangana. The State Government initiated several measures for the all round development of Telangana. On the issue of danger sign on beedis, he said that the issue was ranked up by the TRS and pointed out that it was the TRS president K. Chandrasekhara Rao who ratified the related GO when he was the Union Minister of Labour.

He along with senior leaders of the State addressed an election meeting at Donkinavalasa village in Badangi mandal and listed out the achievements made by the Congress Government. He said that developmental programmes were being implemented in Vizianagaram district at a cost of Rs.40 crores.
