Senior official believed to be deputed to check

State Election authorities have received a complaint that Animal Husbandry Minister, G. Surya Rao has violated the election code by conducting a meeting with district officials at Vijayanagaram to review departmental matters. Vijayanagaram lies in the Bobbili Lok Sabha constituency for which by elections are being held along with Karimnagar. Sources said that a senior officer has been deputed to verify the charge before submitting a report to Election Commission of India.
