Eight candidates, including five independents remain in the fray for Bobbili Lok Sabha by election scheduled to be held on December 4, 2006.
The younger brother of the Minister for Marketing Botsa Satyanarayana (Congress), Kondapalli Appalanaidu's elder brother Venkataramana of TDP and KVNR Prasad of BJP have filed their nominations as dummy candidates, withdrew their papers on Monday. Now that there was a triangular contest for the Lok Sabha sat. However, five independents have not withdrawn their nominations.
