Celebrations begin with Rathotsavam

Marking the week long birthday celebrations of Sri Satya Sai Baba,the Rathotsavam of Sri Venugopla Swamy was performed on a grand scale on Saturday at Puttaparthi. Thousands of devottees from various corners of the world to participate in the celebrations. Sonorous chanting of hymns of nama keerthan by thousands of devotees is special attraction. On this occasion, Sri Sai Baba inauguratd the new 'gaja sala'. Union Minister for Home Shivraj Patil had the darsan of Sai Baba.
