L. Ramana to stand in Karimnagar
Hyderabad, November 16, 2006The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidates file nominations for the by elections in Karimnagar and Bobbili Lok Sabha constituencies. L. Ramana for Karimnagar and K. Appala Naidu for Bobbili constituency have filed nominations on Thursday.
Appala Naidu, by profession a medical practitioner made his debut in politics by filing four sets of nominations before the Returning Officer and Collector B.Kishore amid much fanfare. He is the son of K.Pydithalli Naidu whose death has caused the by election.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K. Chandrasekhara Rao will file his nomination for Karimnagar by election on Friday. He will take part in a massive rally from Ambedkar Stadium to the SRR College grounds where he will address a public meeting.
