Another Accident at SCSL claims one

Mine wall collapses

Even before the SCCL mine accident wherein four persons killed calmed down, another accident occurred on Monday, this time at the GDK2.

A coal filler was killed and another sustained serious injuries when the wall of a mine collapsed on them while they were extracting coal from the Singareni Collieries Company Limited GDK 2 incline mine in Ramagundam division on Monday. In another incident, two SCCL general mazdoors sustained severe burn injuries due to an electric shock at the sub station on the premises of GDK 10(a) incline mine in Ramagundam division.
