Cine Actor Srihari joins Congress

Chief Minister praised Srihari for his steady climb to stardom

Hyderabad, November 12, 2006

The noted Telugu cine actor Srihari joined the Congress party in the presence of the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Sunday. He called on him at his Camp office accompanied buy the State Film Development Corporation Chairman, G. Adiseshagiri Rao and State Cultural Council Chairman Dharmavarapu Subramanyam.

Speaking to media the Chief Minister praised Srihari for his steady climb to stardom and said that he would be useful to strengthen the hands of the Congress and its president Sonia Gandhi. He would hereafter participate in all programmes and plunge into electioneering at Karimnagar and Bobbili.
