Launching the party campaign for the by election to the Karimnagar constituency with pomp and gaiety on Sunday, the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that the issue of separate Telangana was left to UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandi and exuded confidence that she would evolve consensus on the issue. He said that the State Government has been taking all round development of Telangana region which was neglected over years. He said that the Government is committed to transform Telangana into Koti ratanala veena amid applause from the audience.
Listing the various irrigation projects being executed in Karimnagar district, he said that the Government was committed to provide irrigation sources to the entire district by utilizing the surplus Godavari waters.
