5890 polling staff to ensure smooth elections

In a press release issued by the District Collector and Returning Officer B. Kishore said that 1072 polling centres will be set up in Bobbili parliamentary constituency for the ensuing by elections.
Nearly 5890 polling staff will be deployed to ensure the smooth conduct of the by election. He further said that 135 polling centres would be set up in Bobbili, 160 in Etcherla, 161 in Cheepurupalli, 148 in Gajapatinagaram, 167 in Vizianagaram and 148 in Satiwada segments. While 256 polling centres would be set up each for men and women, another 560 would be set up for both men and women besides 1178 presiding officers and 115 route officers, the release said.
