No Suo Motu action taken yet
Hyderabad, November 10, 2006
The Director General of Police, Swaranjit Sen on Friday said that the police are collecting information on the controversy surrounding Margadrsi Financiers.
At a press conference, he said that the police so far not initiated any suo motu action in the matter. He appealed the naxalites who fled the encounter scene to surrender before the police and said that the police have no intention to kill them also a search was launched for them in nearby villages where they were suspected to be hiding. He said the police have recovered a sum of Rs.3.75 lakhs from the scene of encounter.
