Kurnool, November 1, 2006

The police on Wednesday arrested five persons accused of raping and killing of two minor SC girls at R. Pampally in Uyyalawada mandal on October 6, 2006.

According to sources the victims D. Yashoda and her sister D. Syamala of Guduru village had migrated to R. Pampally to work in cotton fields. The Superintendent of Police B. Malla Reddy produced the arrested persons before media persons. The five confessed to the crime according to the SP. They will be produced in the court.
