Rs. 1.5 Crores for Social Welfare Hostels

The State Government has decided to hike the scholarship as well mess charges for the eight lakh students.

The Social Welfare Minister, DS Redya Naik said on Tuesday that it will cost Rs.80 crores to the State exchequer. He said that the Government had allocated Rs.1.5 crores for the construction of social welfare hostels in the district.
