Ten Chief Engineers transferred

Hyderabad, May 8, 2006

The Secretary, Irrigation department Satish Chandra on the orders by the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, transferred as many as ten senior Chief Engineers in Irrigation department on Monday.

Two Superintend Engineers were promoted as Chief Engineers. It is learnt that the stage has been prepared for transfer of another 11 engineers and including these, 75 posts will be filled up by giving promotions and the Major and Medium Irrigation Minister Ponnala Lakshminarayana have given instructions to this effect.

The transferred Engineers are as follows: BVS Prakasa Rao posted to Nagarjuna Sagar Project, Abdul Basheer to Srisailam Project, BSN Reddy to GLIS Warangal, P.Prabhakara Reddy to Godavari Basin Director, PSR Subramanyam to Medium Irrigation, B.Mallikharjunarao to Kadapa Irrigation Circle, R.Prabhakara Reddy to Mahabubnagar Circle, T.Srinivasarao as Joint Secretary, K.Vijayadatyan to Anantapur in charge C.E. , P.Narasimha Murty to Ongole in charge C.E.
