It is learnt that the number of factionists under security cover and who are mis-utilizing them came up for the discussion. The Intelligence Security IG, Hanumantha Rao have briefed the Home Minister about the aspect. He said that Mr. Naidu is having more security compared to the Chief Minister. He is provided with 185 security staff, majority of them are officer cadre in addition to 30 Black Cat Commandos.

Two Grey hound Escort teams are available wherever he goes out, he said. The security system is under the State Intelligence Security wing. While 9 Security guards are available at the residence of Mr.Naidu, only four guards are on duty at Chief Minister's residence.

In addition the latest Digital CCTVs and luggage scanners with a cost of Rs.40 lakhs were provided at the CMs residence and four Sub Inspectors and one constable capable of handling the latest system are posted at CM's residence.
