Another apparel park in Anatapur district

Rangareddy, May 7, 2006

The Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Saturday announced that two garment parks in Ranga Reddy and another apparel park in Anantapur district would come up. The parks in Ranga Reddy district will be set up in Seetarampur of Shahbad mandal and Alur of Chevella mandal and the parks would provide nearly 3000 jobs for the locals. He said the process of acquisition of land for Seetharmpur Garment Park had begun and for another, the process would be stared within six to eight months.

In another Praja Patham programme in Anantapur district, he said the first phase of Handree Neeva Sujala Sravanti works which was aimed at irrigating 3.5 lakh acres were progressing fast.

He announced that an action plan had been submitted to the Centre for providing drinking water for Rayadurgam with a cost of Rs.200 crore.
