Additional burden of 240 crore on state exchequer

The State Government has issued a GO announcing 3.76 per cent to its employees. It would cost the Government an additional burden of Rs. 240 crore a year on the State exchequer.

The order will come into force with retrospective effect from June 2005 and the arrears will be from June 2005 to April 2006 will be credited to GPF accounts.
