Seizes files and important information on bank accounts
Hyderabad, May 6, 2006The officials of the Crime Investigation Department raided the house of Krushi Cooperative Urban Bank director K.Ramesh on Saturday and seized incriminating information related to the bank scam. He was nabbed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on April 18 while he was trying to flee to Bangkok.
The CID Additional Director General M.Ratan said that the raid was conducted after search warrants from the Court. During raids, the official found incriminating material and have deposited in the court.
Meanwhile, the CID has decided to file a petition in the Court on May 8 seeking permission to auction Krushi Bank Chief K.Venkateswara Rao’s property at GS Chambers.
