Charminar Pedestrianisation Project to be revised

MCH Commissioner announced

The Hyderabad Municipal Commissioner, Sanjay Jaju on Saturday announced to revise the Charminar Pedestrianisation Project at the Hyderabad District Review Committee meeting.

The Hyderabad Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi, who said that the project was a conspiracy to close the entrance of the historic Mecca Majid from Charminar side, raised the issue. He said that the proposed buffer zone with thirty-metre radius around the Charminar will put an end to vehicular traffic from both the sides of Charminar.
