Eight killed in two separate accidents

Five killed when passengers get on auto

Gajwel - Mahabubnagar, May 4, 2006

In two separate accidents, eight persons were killed in the State. In Gajwel mandal of Mahabubnagar district, three persons were killed and one was injured on the National Highway. According to Sub Inspector Lakshmana Kumar, a lorry loaded with coal dashed a truck coming in the opposite direction. The drivers in both the vehicles along with the cleaner died on the spot while another one was injured. The two vehicles smashed in the accident.

In another tragic incident, in Pellikur mandal of Nellore district, a mini bus dashed an auto waiting for the passengers to get in killing five persons on the spot.
