The Bharat Jyothi Award was presented to Vaasavi Hospital Chairman, Lakshmi Koti Venkateswaralu for his contribution to his services to various social activities.

The Karnataka State Planning Minister Ramachander Gou presented the award on May 1 at a function in Bangalore. Integrated International Peace and Friendship society have recognized the services of Venkateswarlu and selected him for this award. He is one among the 16 selected throughout the nation. In a function held, prominent persons have felicitated him and lauded his numerous services
