DGP launches Anti-Tobacco campaign
Hyderabad, May 31, 2006
The Police Department will not be recruiting smokers any more. This was announced by the Director General of Police (DGP) Swaranjit Sen. The recruitment notification for 7000 police personnel is expected to be released later next week.
A two-day counselling in connection with World No Tobacco Day was launched. Sen said that the Department is aiming at everyone to be healthy and fit.
